| Hello everyone, I don't even know who still goes on Xanga but hey... I got a little bored.
So what have I been up to you may wonder?
I've been a financial adviser through Sagepoint Advisors, Inc. (formerly AIG Financial Advisors, Inc.)
I got fully licensed for the Securities industry and as Life Agent mid-September, right when the AIG thing blew up. And I guess it's a curse yet a blessing at the same time. Not that I have much confidence in the whole stock system to build your whole life savings on it, but it will recover and surpass this terrible time just as the world economy survived post-WWII and The Great American Depression. My opinion here is not representing Sagepoint Advisors, Inc. in any way, it is solely how I feel about what we are going through.
Life insurance, very important tool for our lives here, cheap for the young people, has been a life saver in my own finances. It is my benefit to help those around me set up these things because I strongly believe in the value of it.
Aside from that, I've been stuck on an MMORPG (eat your life away since it never ends) game called Fly For Fun or Flyff. Level 103! Yay. No I think I'm gona stop playing since I started goin over to David's house to play Age of Empires every week. The game actually has closure, so it's a lot more satisfying. But... I'm a billionaire in Flyff hahaha!
Many of us have come to a point in life where life is serious business, what we do daily, where we want to be, and who you surround yourself with. Once we reside in the Lord Jesus Christ as the life giving spirit, giving him the lead on what we do, we are left with no worries. God provides for the birds and the trees, and he will provide for His children as long as we follow Him.
Prayers are answered. Give it all to Him, and he has his own timeline. Even if you've been praying the same thing for 10 years, it may seem long to you, but the time God is running on, it may be prompt to answering that particular prayer.
Financial stress is a matter that recently broke me down. If I worry, I will have money problems. That affects everyone around me because I have displeasing attitudes rooting from my own financial problems. Our lives are distracted constantly by the things of the World, which of course many people have heard and maybe just brushed off, is owned by Satan. I'm not talking about Satan in those movies, where he's this big red guy whipping people, but one that is "good and bad" if that makes any sense. He is subtle in his move, yet he's very strong in this day and age. So subtle many people don't even notice his move, but by working with him, maybe even without our knowledge, we are further making his presence stronger. So who do u want to be with? God or Satan? If your answer is God, then we must make a strong stance against Satan. If your answer is Satan, then I don't know, just keep doing what you do.
This entry is so scattered, sorry to those that are actually reading this haha.
Lingering in the past- not a good idea haha. All it does is make you think of what things were, and what they could have been today.
Moving forward. Am I making the right choices?
Looking back on the path I had chosen to be where I am today is:
One road fit my worldly wants and preferences when it came down to family life and money.
The other road fit everything with God, but made my future blurry to my own standards.
The breaking of the self, and following blindly with God's plan so to say, is becoming more and more okay as time goes by. It was definitely all planned out, and not by me.
So... follow a somewhat unpredictable life, but in accordance to the way we were called to. Or follow a "simpler" (in world terms) life, where I set for myself and forget about our true mission on Earth?
There is so much that we enjoy on this world, but could never satisfy that inner-man. Anyways, those thoughts were crossing my mind as I sat here and thought to myself.
The way things played out, God had damaged relationships and opportunities in my life in order to lead me in His divine direction. Though at times I may feel like, "why did that happen, I wonder how things would have been," the truth is, there is no better way for those things to have happened.
If a relationship or opportunity is to come about again, and as long as I am following God's path, it is a request by Him. If they never come back, it was for a good reason.
We are constantly disconnected and reconnected to people in our lives. These all have a purpose.
